This is one of the best editions yet, so let’s dive in.
The Best Use Of 1 Hour
We're currently 98 episodes into The Corey Ganim Show (previous The Amazon Wholesale Podcast).
And Episode 98 was a special one, even though it has nothing to do with selling on Amazon.
My guest was Dedric Polite, a real estate investor, wholesaler, flipper, and star of the hit show 50/50 Flip on A&E.
You should invest an hour of your time watching it for one main reason:
Every one of Dedric's skills and experiences is directly applicable to your Amazon business.
This is my only podcast episode that I've sat down and re-listened to all the way through.
It was that good.

Distributor Verification Checklist
Brand direct is the hot trend right now.
And for good reason.
It's the safest (and oftentimes most profitable) way to sell on Amazon.
But there is still tons of opportunity in working with distributors.
A large portion of my wholesale business comes from authorized distributor relationships.
So I'm giving away my Distributor Verification Checklist for free.
Use it to easily identify the suppliers that have potential vs. ones that will waste your time.

Amazon's Prime Video Problem
We all have those subscriptions we've been paying for months (sometimes years) but never get around to using.
Amazon is finding that Prime Video is one of them.
Less than 40% of Prime customers used Prime Video in 2024.
it's an interesting data point that begs the question:
What will Amazon do to increase engagement in Prime Video?
Recent deals with the NFL for Thursday Night Football, LeBron James for rights to his Mind The Game podcast, and other investments show that Amazon isn't letting this one slide.
Keep in mind, this article is behind a paywall but you can read the headline and first few paragraphs here.
Amazon's (Not So Surprising) Bid For TikTok
Another potential TikTok ban is right around the corner (tomorrow) and Amazon wants to save it.
Top brass at Amazon sent a letter to Vice President JD Vance and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick expressing interest in buying TikTok.
According to insiders, Oracle is the front-runner for taking over TikTok’s US operations.
Government officials and TikTok execs “do not appear to be taking Amazon’s bid seriously”.
A lot can happen in the next 24 hours ahead of a potential ban.
Stay tuned, and check out the full article here.
That’s it for this week.
