24 billion ASINs gone

Here's what we have inside this week's newsletter:

How to become a supplier

• How to identify the best brands

• Amazon logistics gets an AI-powered facelift

• Why Amazon is deleting 24 billion ASINs

From Seller To Supplier

Few people have successfully made the jump from Amazon seller to authorized distributor.

Imagine no longer having to deal with the headaches involved with selling on Amazon's marketplace.

Now, distribution is not all sunshine and rainbows (no business is).

But my friend Garrett scaled to $1.5M in sales in under 18 months selling products to our Wholesale Network Mastermind and a small list of private clients.

I interviewed Garrett and he shared the exact principles he used to scale and build rock-solid supplier relationships.

The Best Brands Look Like This

I dropped a surprise training for our Wholesale Accelerator community members yesterday.

In the training I go over the 3 criteria I use to identify the best brands and disqualify all the rest.

I showcase a specific example of a brand I've sold and exactly why they're a great fit.

We created the Wholesale Accelerator with one simple goal:

Provide the straightest-line path to wholesale order #1.

Amazon Logistics Meets AI

As a part of Amazon's larger AI push, the company announced a focus on creating warehouse robots that can perform multiple tasks.

Amazon claims these robots will provide significant cost savings/efficiency gains over the current robots that typically perform one task at a time.

Amazon plans to use generative AI for logistics to:

• Optimize delivery routes

• Decrease delivery times

• Decrease fuel consumption

My take: This is one small part of the AI arms race that Amazon and other tech giants find themselves in.

Hundreds of billions will be spent to develop AI solutions across the enterprise.

I'm curious to see what Amazon's next AI move will be.

Say Goodbye to 24 Billion ASINs

Amazon is undergoing a massive internal project aimed at purging 24 billion ASINs from it's catalog.

The project is code-named Bend The Curve.

The goal:

Shrink Amazon's catalog to under 50 billion ASINs by the end of 2025.

These listings are on the chopping block:

• No inventory

• Outdated info

• Zero activity for over 2 years

The move will reportedly save Amazon $36M on AWS cloud bills in 2025.

Alright, that's all for this week.

Thanks for reading, and remember...

You're only one supplier away!
