selling Nike on Amazon? You may want to read this...

Here’s what we’ll be covering this week:

  • Why Amazon sellers are failing in 2025
  • A game-changing trade show resource
  • Bad news for Nike sellers
  • Some interesting Amazon seller stats

Let’s dig in.

Amazon Sellers Are Failing - Here's Why

90% of Amazon sellers quit within 6 months (real statistic).

But its not because of laziness or lack of education.

It's because most sellers don't adhere to a simple set of business rules.

In this podcast episode I break down why most Amazon sellers are failing in 2025 and how you can be the exception.

My Secret Trade Show Resource

I've talked about this resource a few times but most people still don't know it exists.

It's called 10times.com

It's a giant directory of every trade show show in the world.

Filter by category, state, country, etc.

I'm doing a training for our Wholesale Accelerator Skool community showing them how to use this resource to crush it at their first trade show.

Bad News For Nike Sellers

Here's an email that Amazon sent to Nike sellers this week:

The good news: arbitrage sellers who only sell Nike will now be forced to build a real business

The bad news: this is yet another example of Amazon tightening up restrictions for big brands.

My take: this move further proves that brand direct wholesale is the way of the future.

With brand direct, we're not targeting the Nikes of the world.

We're targeting brands that 98% of people have never heard of yet still sell well on Amazon.

These brands rarely get restricted by Amazon and we have a direct relationship with the manufacturer for added protection.

Amazon Seller Stats

This article breaks down some interesting statistics about Amazon sellers.

Here are a few that stood out:

  • 3p sellers now account for 60% of Amazon’s retail sales
  • The average seller sells $290,000 per year
  • More than 55,000 sellers sold over $1M in 2024
  • Since the marketplace was created 3p sellers have sold $2.5 trillion
  • 3p sellers have exported over 2 billion items internationally

My take: these statistics should excite those of you who work hard and know how to pivot.

The opportunity is huge. It has always been huge. And it’s not slowing down anytime soon.

That’s all for this week.

Remember….

You’re only one supplier away!
