My Biggest Amazon Hack

I call it the YoYo Repricing Strategy.

It helps me make multiple extra sales per day at my max price.

Step 1) Raise your price to your max every 3 hours

Step 2) Hold it there for 20 minutes

Step 3) Revert to regular repricing

Like a YoYo, your repricer should constantly be raising your price to your max to help you squeak out extra high-profit sales.

Chinese Products Are Getting More Expensive

According to this article, median prices of China-origin goods on Amazon US grew 2.6% January–mid‑June, outpacing the 1% growth in core CPI.

The main categories affected:

• Electronics

• Home goods

• School supplies

My take: Amazon sellers importing from China are feeling the squeeze.

While this mainly affects private label sellers, arbitrage sellers gearing up for the back to school rush will also be negatively impacted.


Amazon Leverages AI To Cut Jobs

In a recent interview, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy emphasized that AI-driven automation will result in fewer employees while boosting efficiency for the ones who remain.

He claims AI will help free workers from mundane tasks, focusing on higher-impact roles.

Jassy said the company aims to evolve workforce composition rather than expand headcount.

My take: Amazon is betting big on AI. Not just for efficiency, but for reshaping its entire workforce.

For sellers, this is a warning and an opportunity: if you’re not finding ways to leverage AI in your ops, you’re already behind.
